Everyone knows Japan is 30 years ahead of the rest of the world in terms of technology. I like the latest futuristic innovation against corner store stick-ups, as shown in this video. I attribute Japan's extremely low crime rate to this kind of creative thinking - always one step ahead of the bad guys. (Quick crime rate facts: There are 1.3 robberies per 100 000 people in Japan - 65.8/100 000 in England and 233/100 000 in the USA.)
